The Beginning
How purpose defines everything we do.

What makes this document different
While we’ve been publishing sustainability reports for years, this year we wanted to go a step further.
We want to share the framework that guides how we operate: the practices, decisions, and mindset we’ve built over the past 26 years to create technology that delivers real value to humanity.
We call it STX Pulse: a living document that brings visibility to our methodology and ecosystem with transparency, honesty, and professionalism. Until now, it had remained an internal resource. But we decided to share it, because every time we mention it at events, we’re struck by the audience’s curiosity, excitement, and genuine interest.
STX Pulse is a guide for strengthening teams, taking them to the next level, and helping them stand out both technically and personally. It’s also an inspirational and practical platform for those wishing to measure the environmental impact of a tech company that evolves faster than regulations. And it’s also a formula for building something bigger than a company: an ecosystem that fosters belonging and inspires creation.
That’s why we’re sharing it today. Because we believe that’s where the value lies: in helping one another.
So we hope you read and enjoy the following pages.

The big picture at Santex
We integrate technology and humans.
We combine technical innovation with a genuine understanding of the people using it. Without this understanding—without judgment—even the best tool in the world will prove useless.
We were founded in San Diego, and our headquarters are based in Córdoba, Argentina. We also have offices in Lima, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires, and operate across 18 countries and more than 100 cities worldwide.
In 2022, we launched Technology with Purpose, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping more people become part of the world of technology.
Two years later, we launched AI League for Good, a movement dedicated to building ethical AI. That same year, we were included in the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies, with 164% growth in three years.
Since then, we’ve been working toward carbon neutrality by offsetting our residual emissions, which we successfully achieved. We are currently undergoing consolidation and verification under international standards alongside Nideport. This means that, while our operations still generate emissions, we offset our entire footprint plus an additional volume, resulting in a net-negative emissions balance from an accounting perspective. These offsets are carried out through projects focused on reducing and removing emissions, including reforestation, renewable energy and energy efficiency. We’re not operationally carbon neutral, and we’re transparent about it: offsetting is a measurable commitment and a starting point, not the finish line. Our goal is to steadily reduce emissions at the source year after year.
The driving force behind these achievements has always been the same: developing technology that creates a positive impact. In an industry that moves faster than any regulation or ethical consensus, our purpose is what gives us the clarity to say no when others would say yes.
Our values are clear:
Courage to keep moving despite the lack of guarantees.
Passion that distinguishes technology from humanity.
Trust built through honesty and the ability to acknowledge mistakes.
Participation, because the best decisions come from open, honest conversations across different perspectives.
These aren’t just statements or slogans. They are values we practice, measure, and shape together.
